No doubt the recent developments within the Panth have caused great concern to the Sikh Sangat at Global level. The Sikhs living all over the world aspire for strong social unity. Similarly, they wish to preserve and promote independent Sikh identity as envisioned by Guru Nanak and his nine successors. This proposed conference will bring into sharp focus the unique features of Sikhism and will take into account how all these features are closely connected with the One God, One Guru, One Scripture i.e. Sri Guru Granth Sahib finally prepared/standardized at Damdama Sahib Sabo Ki Talwandi 1706 AD, Oneness of the Sikh Guru Panth, One Code of Conduct i.e. Panth accepted Sikh Rahit Maryada of1927- 1945. All these issues are of crucial importance for the Panthic unity.
